A new stage for musical encounters

The 2018 festival explored three decades of Tommie Haglund’s music, from his breakthrough work Intensio animi to the major violin and cello concertos. Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra and international soloists filled the weekend with orchestral, chamber and solo music. Conversations and a masterclass for young composers opened up new perspectives. The finale also marked the inauguration of Halmstad’s new concert hall at Kulturhuset Najaden.
